Snow blankets Türkiye’s ‘Weeping Rocks’ as temperature drops

The natural marvel offers an impressive visual treat for locals and visitors

Snow covered Türkiye’s natural wonder, ‘Weeping Rocks,’ located on Tunceli-Erzincan Highway, as the temperature drops to minus 20 degrees Celsius Saturday.

The 20-meter-long rocks, located at the 40th kilometer of the Tunceli-Erzincan highway, are known as the “Weeping Rocks” among the locals.

The natural marvel of weeping Rocks offers an impressive visual treat for locals and visitors.

Delay Yoleri, one of the locals using the highway, shared that she was happy to see the frozen state of the Weeping Rocks due to the cold weather.

Meanwhile, another local named Ahmet Yıldız said that rocks garner a lot of attention from visitors during winter.

“People take photos and videos of this natural marvel, especially in winter,” Yıldız said.
