Roketsan to exhibit its state-of-the-art defense systems at the Defence Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2024, an event open only to industry professionals, will be held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, from May 6 to 9. Around 1,200 companies from 60 countries and over 400 delegations from 45 countries will participate at DSA 2024, where Roketsan will showcase the state-of-the-art technology systems it is proposing to meet the region’s needs.

Roketsan has brought a strong team to DSA 2024 to increase its exports to Malaysia, as a major partner of Türkiye in the region, and to other countries in the geography.

General Manager of Roketsan Murat Ikinci said: “Products developed by Roketsan are continuing to prove themselves in many parts of the world. While we are up among several world giants in this field, our products continue to stand out from those of our competitors in terms of quality, performance, and price. The rockets, missiles and weapon systems that we have developed to date allow us to meet all the needs of the Malaysian Armed Forces, one of the most powerful armies in the region.

Our participation at DSA 2024 is of great importance to us, as it allows us to discuss the available opportunities and the needs of friendly and allied armies in the region, especially the Malaysian Armed Forces, and to take our cooperation to the next level.”

He continued, “Considering the geographical location of the region, we recognize the particular strategic importance of the navy, and note that Roketsan can meet an important need in the region with its state-of-the-art products developed in this field.”

Roketsan is showcasing an array of advanced defense systems at DSA 2024, including the KARAOK short-range Anti-Tank Weapon, which the Malaysian Armed Forces are set to adopt.

Additionally, Roketsan is presenting the ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile, Cakır Cruise Missile, CIRIT Laser-Guided Missile, UMTAS and OMTAS Long- and Medium-Range Anti-Tank Weapons, SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System, HISAR-O Medium-Altitude Air Defence Missile, SIPER Long-Range Air Defence Missile System, National Vertical Launcher System MIDLAS, Mini Smart Ammunition family members MAM-C, MAM-L, and MAM-T, as well as the TRLG-230 Missile, KHAN Weapon System, and ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System in the land systems category.
