Roketsan to fill KARAOK missile orders by Malaysia
As the initial export customer, Malaysia to commence receiving shoulder-launched Roketsan KARAOK anti-tank missiles in 2026
Roketsan has been engaged in marketing endeavors for the KARAOK Shoulder-Launched Anti-Tank Missile System (MANPATS) for a considerable period of time. Equivalent to the Javelin Missile manufactured in the U.S., the shoulder-launchable KARAOK is unique to Turkiye. Moreover, the development of such a missile by Turkiye subsequent to that of the United States among member states of NATO is of considerable importance.
After successfully completing test operations, Malaysia became KARAOK MANPATS’s initial export customer. In 2026, the first of more than one hundred KARAOK anti-tank missiles and eighteen command/launch units are scheduled to be delivered to Malaysia. In addition, Roketsan will conduct KARAOK MANPATS training for Malaysian personnel prior to the shipment.
