Türkiye’s state-owned defense contractor Roketsan General Manager Murat Ikinci announced that the company aims to achieve a 50% increase in both revenue and exports by the end of 2025.

“We are currently exporting to around 40 countries, and we want to quickly increase this number to 50,” he said.

Ikinci spoke to Anadolu Agency during the 2025 Antalya Diplomacy Forum, held under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and hosted by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the NEST Congress Center in Belek, Antalya.

Roketsan contributed over $400M to Türkiye’s defense exports in 2024

Highlighting Türkiye’s $7 billion in defense exports last year, Ikinci said more than $400 million came from Roketsan alone. “We closed 2024 at a promising point and started 2025 strong. We’ve seen a rapid upward trend in the first quarter,” he noted.

Ikinci stated that Türkiye’s short-term goal is to reach $10 billion in defense exports, and Roketsan is expected to play a key role in achieving that.

“We aim to close this year with approximately 50% growth, both in revenue and exports,” he said.

Defense products exported to 40 countries

Ikinci noted that Roketsan continues production for both the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and international markets.

He said ballistic missile production is progressing rapidly, and capacity has been expanded for serial production projects.

“We are currently exporting to around 40 countries and want to increase this quickly to 50. Roketsan products are actively used in many parts of the world,” Ikinci said.

“Anti-tank missiles, munitions for our smart UAVs, anti-ship missiles, systems like Sungur and Karaok, and our cruise missiles—nearly our entire product portfolio—is in use globally. Not only are they being used, but we are also receiving additional requests. That is very encouraging for us,” he added.
