President Erdogan to visit Azerbaijan in May amid busy diplomatic schedule

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will travel to Azerbaijan in May as part of his official diplomatic agenda to elevate the strategic partnership between Ankara and Baku.
The planned visit comes during an active period in Erdogan’s international engagement calendar, according to reports from Azerbaijani media sources.
Before heading to Azerbaijan, Erdogan will visit Italy on April 29 to participate in the 4th Türkiye-Italy Intergovernmental Summit.
The meeting represents an important forum for bilateral cooperation and dialogue with European partners.
The Turkish president is also scheduled to attend TEKNOFEST on May 3, Türkiye’s premier aerospace and technology festival, which will be hosted this year in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The event showcases Türkiye’s advancements in technological innovation and its defense industry.
Looking beyond these commitments, Erdogan is expected to visit Washington, DC, in June for high-level discussions with US officials.
This trip could prove significant for U.S.-Türkiye relations, which continue to evolve against a complex regional and global landscape.
