President Erdogan: Türkiye conducted 35,500 operations against terror groups

At the Jandarma and Police New Vehicle Commissioning Ceremony, President Erdogan made significant statements, emphasizing the importance of security forces and assessing the success of Türkiye’s defense industry and regional developments.

Highlighting Türkiye’s resolute steps in combating terrorism, Erdogan stated, “In 2024 alone, we carried out 35,500 operations against bloodthirsty criminals, from PKK to FETO, DHKP/C to Daesh.” He added, “We have come down hard on those who see themselves as untouchable. Almost every day, we hear news of a top terrorist being neutralized. We have left no breathing space for terrorist organizations inside and outside our borders.”

Erdogan also emphasized the significance of national technology in the defense industry, saying, “The attacks on Lebanon remind us of the importance of our national technology initiative. We will continue to work until we achieve a fully independent Türkiye in defense.”

Additionally, Erdogan remarked, “Türkiye is not a country that can ever be left on its own. Those who dream of promised lands, arms dealers, and those uncomfortable with a growing Türkiye are disturbed by every step we take.”
