President Erdogan discusses bilateral relations with Pakistani counterpart on phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari discuss bilateral relations and express determination to strengthen ties in all areas during phone call

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call with Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to a statement from the Presidency’s Communications Directorate, Erdogan discussed bilateral relations with Zardari during the phone call.

In the conversation, President Erdogan expressed the determination to strengthen the relations between Türkiye and Pakistan in all areas.

Erdogan mentioned that the exemplary bilateral relations will be further solidified with the upcoming High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting.

President Erdogan also extended condolences to those who lost their lives in terrorist attacks in Pakistan and congratulated Zardari on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
