President Erdogan addresses Religious Officers Graduation Ceremony
Erdogan highlights the decade-long efforts to establish the academy and its importance for the Diyanet community’s training
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Thursday delivered a speech at the Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center during the Graduation Ceremony of the 1st Term Religious Officials of the Diyanet Academy in the capital Ankara.
In his address, President Erdogan emphasized the significant progress made in the establishment of the Diyanet Academy over the past decade, highlighting its role in enhancing the quality of prevocational and vocational training within the Diyanet community.
He expressed confidence that the academy’s trainees would contribute to the community’s strength and development.
Erdogan also underscored the consolidation of various training programs previously offered by the head offices and provincial branches of the Presidency of Religious Affairs under the umbrella of the Diyanet Academy.
He emphasized the institution’s critical role in improving the quality of religious training and expanding services for citizens at home and abroad, as well as for other communities.
Furthermore, the president shared about his involvement in overseeing the establishment of the academy, expressing satisfaction at witnessing the graduation of the first cohort of trainees.
He extended his felicitations to the 4,537 religious officials who completed their 8-month training at the Diyanet Academy.
