Polish plane makes emergency landing in Antalya, passengers evacuated

Antalya Airport Border Administrative Officer Suat Seyitoglu confirmed that 180 passengers from a Polish aircraft, which made an emergency landing at Antalya Airport after departing from Israel on Tuesday, were successfully evacuated on a third rescue plane.
Emergency landing due to technical malfunction
Speaking about the incident, Seyitoglu stated that the Polish passenger plane, returning from Israel, safely landed at Antalya Airport because of a technical failure.
The aircraft, operated by Poland’s Enter Airlines, had to interrupt its flight for safety reasons.

Passengers provided with assistance
Seyitoglu noted that the passengers, including an Israeli student group, were accommodated in the waiting lounge, where their food, beverages, and all other needs were met. “There were no health issues among the passengers,” he emphasized.
Initially, a replacement aircraft was requested, but the second aircraft also encountered technical problems requiring the deployment of a third plane.
After further delays, the 180 passengers and crew were finally able to depart for Poland on the last rescue flight. Meanwhile, technicians continue to work on repairing the two grounded aircraft at Antalya Airport.
