Police conduct search at municipality affiliated Istanbul Medya AS, seize computer

Police officers conducted a search at Istanbul Medya AS, a company affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), as part of an ongoing investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

During the search, authorities reportedly seized a computer.

Search conducted as part of a confidential investigation

According to available information, officers from the Istanbul Police Department’s Financial Crimes Division arrived at the company’s office in Sisli to execute the search order.

The operation was carried out under the scope of an ongoing confidential investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crimes Bureau.

The search was reportedly prompted by allegations that evidence related to the investigation was being destroyed at the company’s headquarters. During the operation, police seized a computer that was in use by an employee of the company.

After completing the search procedures, the officers left the premises.

Confidential investigation targets alleged evidence destruction
