Polish defense delegation explores Marlin USV in Türkiye
A group of senior defense officials from Poland visited Türkiye to thoroughly assess the most recent advancements in Türkiye’s defense industry. The group, led by Pawel Bejda, the Deputy Defense Minister of Poland, expressed a specific interest in the technology of Turkish Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs).
Aselsan and Sefine Shipyard collaborated to create the Marlin USV, the main focus of the visit.
Marcin Kulasek, a Polish Parliament member, expressed on his official X account his desire for enhanced defense cooperation between Türkiye and Poland, adding that such partnerships would be advantageous for both nations.
“During our visit, we visited Sefine Shipyard and had discussions about potential collaborative projects in the maritime sector. It is evident the Poles are the ideal partners for the Turks in this domain,” stated Kulasek.
Polish team visits Baykar after Marlin
During their visit to Türkiye, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Pawel Bejda, Deputy Minister of State Assets Marcin Kulasek, and their 28-member delegation also toured Baykar’s Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center.
Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar, who hosted the Polish delegation, presented a model of the Bayraktar TB2 to the visitors.
