Sinan Memi, identified as one of the ringleaders of the criminal group “Daltonlar,” was detained in Poland on Nov. 2, 2024.
Atakan Avci, a convicted drug trafficker serving a 30-year sentence, had been wanted under an international Red Notice for a year.
Thanking Turkish law enforcement and intelligence authorities, Yerlikaya stated, “Regardless of their size or which country they flee to, we will track down and bring back every member of organized crime groups and drug traffickers one by one. They cannot escape from us.”
