The identity of one of the terrorists involved in the attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries Corporation (TAI) in Ankara has been disclosed.

Reports indicate that one of the two assailants, born in 1992 in Beytussebap, Sirnak, is a member of the PKK terrorist organization. This revelation comes in the wake of the assault on TAI facilities.

Meanwhile, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said it is “highly likely” that the PKK terror group is responsible, adding that Türkiye will share the identifications and other evidence as they become clear.

“Unfortunately, the number of dead in the terrorist attack on in Ankara reaches 5, with total of 22 wounded,” said Interior Minister Yerlikaya.

The attack struck the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in Ankara. Security forces, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the area, while TAI’s personnel were directed to shelters for security reasons.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation.
