Kocaeli entrepreneur Nurcan Babalik has exported software to nine countries since establishing her company 16 years ago
Nurcan Babalik, an entrepreneur living in Kocaeli who founded Nacsoft Software, has been successfully exporting her products for the past 16 years.
Babalik, a Hacettepe University Physics Engineering graduate, produces software for various sectors with Turkish engineers in the Kocaeli University Technology Development Zone and exports to nine countries.
Babalik, the head of the Kocaeli Women Entrepreneurs Executive Board, established within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and coordinated by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, also founded a technology company in New York City, U.S.
Babalik, a 59-year-old mother of three, demonstrates remarkable resilience and determination, successfully managing her business while raising a family.
Despite the challenges of being the sole female company owner in the Kocaeli University Technology Development Zone, Babalik remains determined.
Working with 30 software engineers, her company exports to nine countries, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the UAE, the U.S., South Africa, and Türkiye.
Babalik explained that she developed a workflow application to facilitate the company’s digital transformation.
The entrepreneur aims to provide on-site support to customers in the U.S. with Nacsoft’s New York division.
This step aims to bring Turkish products to wider audiences in the U.S. market. In addition to her successful career, Babalik continues to inspire female entrepreneurs.
