Malian Army Chief visits Türkiye’s Defense Industries Presidency

Malian Republic Army Chief of Staff Brigadier General Harouna Samake and his accompanying delegation visited the Presidency of Defense Industries of Türkiye Monday.

Mali’s geopolitical significance, coupled with its rich mineral resources, attracts Türkiye’s attention.

Türkiye supports Mali in counterterrorism efforts, fostering increased cooperation through high-level visits and agreements. Technical and military aid from Türkiye enhances Mali’s security capabilities.

Trade between Mali and Türkiye is on the rise, reaching $165 million in 2022, showcasing strengthening economic bonds.
