Main opposition leader predicts 2 years left for ruling AK Party

The Chairman of the main opposition party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Ozgur Ozel, hinted at early elections, predicting that the incumbent government, led by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), has at most two years left.
The leader made these remarks at the 93rd Izmir International Fair.
“Türkiye’s leading party embraces the entire nation. Whether it’s next year or the year after, if a minister is speaking, they will be one of us. If a vice president is speaking, they will be one of us. If a president is speaking, they will be one of us. The end of the road is in sight,” Ozel maintained.
Continuing his remarks, Ozel further said: “Just as we are the founding party of Türkiye, we are also the guarantor of its future.”
