In the recent election survey conducted by ORC Research on March 5-7, 2025, the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) emerged as the leading party, while the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) received 28.9%. In February 2025 poll, AK Party’s vote percentage was recorded at 29.1%.

The latest version of the ORC Research poll, which is released monthly, was conducted with 3,390 participants across 26 provinces.

CHP leads in polls

The survey asked participants, “If general elections were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?” The findings showed that the CHP is currently the leading party with 29.3% of the vote. AK Party’s support was recorded at 28.9%, while the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) received 8.3%. The Kurdish-oriented Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) garnered 7.8%.

The voting percentages for some of the other parties included:

  • Zafer Party (Victory Party): 5%
  • YRP (New Welfare Party): 4.9%
  • IYI Party (Good Party): 4.5%
  • Gelecek Party (Future Party): 2.2%
  • BBP (Great Union Party): 1.9%
  • TIP (Workers’ Party of Türkiye): 1.5%

In ORC’s January 2025 poll, AK Party’s vote share was 29.3%, but the March 2025 survey reflects the lowest level in the last three months. In a survey conducted by ORC Research on Jan. 2-7, 2025, with 3,920 participants from 41 provinces, AK Party held 30.2% of the vote, securing the top position.
