Main opposition CHP inches ahead ruling AK Party in new poll

ASAL Research showcased their latest political poll conducted in February with 2,000 participants across 26 provinces, revealing that undecided voters are in the highest proportion at 37.9%, and the vote shares of the country’s top political parties continue to be quite close.
When undecided voters are distributed proportionally, the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) ranked first with 31.6%, while the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) came second with 30.9%. Polls have increasingly shown a narrowing margin.

- Türkiye Workers’ Party (TİP): 1.4%

DEM Party takes third spot
Türkiye’s second largest opposition party, Kurdish-oriented DEM Party placed third with a vote share of 9.3%. The government’s coalition partner MHP followed with 9%, and the Good Party (İYİ Party) came in fifth with 4.3%.
