The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Israel must promptly end its presence in Palestinian territories and compensate for the damage caused.

In a written statement, the Ministry recalled the advisory opinion issued by the ICJ, which legally confirmed Israel’s “occupation and oppression policies” towards Palestinians.

The statement added following:

“As indicated in the advisory opinion, Israel must immediately end its presence in Palestinian territories and compensate for the damage it has caused. The international community is obligated to take a decisive and strong stance to end Israel’s unlawful practices. Türkiye has supported the process at the International Court of Justice by contributing both written and oral inputs to the advisory opinion. We will continue our efforts to ensure that crimes committed against Palestinians, including acts of genocide against the people of Gaza, do not go unpunished.”
