Gokdogan missile hits target with pinpoint accuracy in final test
Gokdogan, Türkiye’s first domestic and national air-to-air beyond-line-of-sight missile developed by the Tubitak Defense Industry Research and Development Institute (SAGE), managed to hit the target aircraft with pinpoint accuracy in the last firing test conducted on August 30 Victory Day.
This significant achievement once again demonstrated Türkiye’s technological capability in the defense industry.
In a statement on his social media account, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacir congratulated the Tubitak Sage team and thanked the engineers and technicians who contributed to the project. Kacir stated that such projects significantly contribute to Türkiye’s independence and strength in the defense industry.
