Death toll in Gaza reaches staggering 23,210 since Oct. 7 due to Israeli attacks, reports Health Ministry

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 has reached 23,210.

The Ministry also stated that at least 59,167 people have been injured in the conflict so far.

In a particularly intense 24-hour period, the Ministry claimed that Israeli forces committed 12 massacres against Palestinian families, resulting in 126 deaths and 241 injuries.

The statement highlighted the severe consequences of the ongoing conflict, with many victims reportedly still trapped under rubble or lying on the streets, unreachable by ambulances because of continuous Israeli air and ground assaults.

The latest escalation in violence follows a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas in October.

The Israeli response has been severe, with significant devastation reported across the Gaza Strip.

Approximately 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, leaving nearly two million residents displaced and facing acute shortages of food, clean water and medical supplies.

The situation in the region remains tense, with the international community expressing growing concern over the humanitarian crisis and calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities.
