France imposes an entry ban on 28 illegal Jewish settlers who have been perpetrating violence against Palestinians

France has imposed an entry ban on 28 illegal Jewish settlers who have been perpetrating violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, according to a statement from the French Foreign Ministry.

The statement condemned the increasing violence by illegal Jewish settlers against Palestinians in recent months, stating that “France strongly condemns this violence. As we have repeatedly stated before, it is the responsibility of the Israeli authorities to put an end to it and to prosecute the perpetrators.”

Furthermore, the statement affirmed French support for implementing sanctions against these settlers at the European level and highlighted the illegality of colonialism according to international law, emphasizing that if Israel’s colonization of Palestinian territories continues, the establishment of a Palestinian state would be jeopardized.

The statement underscored the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state as the “sole solution” for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace and security.
