Foreign Affairs Minister Fidan and British counterpart Cameron discuss Gaza, Ukraine, and defense industry cooperation during their meeting on the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting in Brussels

Foreign Affairs Minister Hakan Fidan met with his British counterpart David Cameron to discuss topics such as Gaza, Ukraine, and defense industry cooperation during the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

According to diplomatic sources, the two discussed the latest developments in Gaza during the meeting.

They also discussed steps to be taken for the delivery of humanitarian aid and evaluated the current state of ongoing negotiations.

Fidan conveyed Türkiye’s views on the importance of recognizing the state of Palestine to his counterpart.

Additionally, the ministers discussed the current situation regarding the war in Ukraine and cooperation in the defense industry.

Fidan and Cameron also exchanged views on topics on the NATO agenda as two allies who are not members of the European Union (EU).

NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting will take 2 days, and it will be closed to the press.
