A fire broke out at a wood products factory in Afyonkarahisar’s industrial zone on Monday, prompting an extensive firefighting operation.
Emergency response teams worked urgently to contain the blaze, which started in the evening hours for reasons yet to be determined.
Firefighters entered the factory’s courtyard, which was heavily affected by the flames, using oxygen tanks to navigate the hazardous conditions. Water tankers and fire trucks were deployed as efforts to bring the fire under control continued.
