Erdogan to break 1st Ramadan fast, perform Tarawih in Damascus: Turkish media

Dogan Senturk, general broadcast director of NOW News in Türkiye, claimed that, according to sources within the ruling AK Party, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will break his fast for the first day of Ramadan in Damascus, Syria.

Furthermore, Senturk reported that Erdogan is expected to perform his first Tarawih prayer at the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus. The announcement, based on behind-the-scenes information, has generated significant attention.

No official statement has been made by the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) or the Presidency regarding this matter. Media claims Erdogan will break his fast in Damascus and perform Tarawih at the Umayyad Mosque.
