Erdogan reportedly skips Biden’s dinner after UNGA
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reportedly canceled his plans to attend a dinner hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden. Erdogan, who was in New York for the 79th United Nations General Assembly, is expected to return to Türkiye without attending the high-profile event.
According to NTV’s U.S. correspondent, Erdogan left the Turkish House in New York and headed to the airport. “Erdogan has decided not to attend Biden’s dinner. He has left the Turkish House and is headed to the airport to return to Türkiye,” Günay posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
