President Erdogan highlights ongoing efforts to address inflation and the cost of living, saying ‘We are focused on sustainable prosperity rather than temporary relief’

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan outlined the government’s plans and achievements, targeting a range of topics from housing to infrastructure development, while also aiming at the opposition during a rally in the province of Corum.

“We are planning to reach the figure of 200,000 houses every month,” Erdogan announced, emphasizing the government’s commitment to rebuilding cities devastated by earthquakes.

He highlighted ongoing efforts to address inflation and the cost of living, reassuring the public that steps are being taken.

Erdogan underscored the continuation of government inspections across ministries, aiming for tangible results.

He also predicted a rapid decline in inflation from the second half of the year, indicating expanded opportunities for all 85 million citizens with the expected decrease.

“We are focused on sustainable prosperity rather than temporary relief,” Erdogan declared, asserting the government’s clear direction and actions.

Responding to the opposition’s criticism, Erdogan accused them of misleading citizens with promises and failing to deliver on projects in the municipalities they have governed from Ankara to Istanbul.

“Building towers with black money seems to be the only thing they are capable of,” he criticized.

Erdogan emphasized the government’s commitment to avoiding commitments that would harm the country and its people, striving for what is best for Türkiye and its citizens.

“The mirror of a person is their work,” he stated, highlighting the government’s tangible achievements.

The president also highlighted the upcoming benefits of the high-speed train line, which will connect Corum to the Black Sea and Central Anatolia.

He also noted the construction of 15 dams and ongoing efforts to open 100,000 hectares of land for irrigation.

“We have provided natural gas supply to many districts,” Erdogan added, emphasizing infrastructure development across various regions.

In conclusion, Erdogan introduced the candidates for mayor from all districts, wrapping up the rally with a display of unity and forward-looking governance.

He also called for the Corum people to support the AK Party’s mayoral candidates in Ankara and Istanbul.

The rally in Corum showcased the government’s achievements and vision for Türkiye’s continued progress.
