President Recep Tayyip Erdogan highlighted the importance of accountability in the public sector as he addressed the program organized on the occasion of the 162nd Anniversary of the Court of Accounts at the Court of Accounts Conference Hall.
The president began his speech by acknowledging significant milestones in Türkiye’s public service sector, such as the recent celebrations of the Council of State and the Turkish Police Organization and the upcoming commemoration of the Land Forces.
Erdogan emphasized the weighty responsibility of public service, funded by taxpayers’ contributions, stressing the need for public servants to serve the country with seriousness, sincerity and dedication.
He warned against complacency and vowed to address any disconnect between government institutions and the people they serve.
