Erdogan calls TAI attack “Despicable” terror assault on Türkiye’s sovereignty
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the Wednesday attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries Corporation (TAI) facilities in Ankara, describing it as a “despicable” terror assault targeting the nation’s survival and peace.
He emphasized that such attacks aim to undermine Türkiye’s defense initiatives and efforts toward full independence.
Erdogan stated, “Our nation must know that any ‘dirty hands’ reaching Türkiye will be broken; no terrorist group or ‘axis of evil’ will be able to achieve their goals.”
He reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering commitment to combat all forms of terrorism and their supporters, vowing to pursue a multi-dimensional approach with determination and resolve.
“Unfortunately, the number of dead in the terrorist attack on in Ankara reaches 5, with total of 22 wounded,” said Interior Minister Yerlikaya, adding, “We assess that the attack was most probably carried out by the terorrist organization PKK.”
‘We will continue our fight against terorrism,’ say Turkish FM
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan condemns the terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries facility in Ankara via social media, stating, “We will continue our fight against all terrorist elements and the forces that feed them, inside and outside, with determination.”
Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler expresses Ankara’s determination in its fight against terrorism, stating, “We will not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated, and we will avenge this act and their pain in kind. Everyone will see this.”
