According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications, the discussion covered the enhancement of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Erdogan emphasized that steps would be taken in the future to increase cooperation between Türkiye and the Netherlands.

One of the central topics of the conversation was the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

Erdogan underlined that efforts to end the war must involve both countries equally and that any process excluding one of the parties would ultimately fail.

The situation in Gaza

Erdogan also expressed strong concerns about the actions of Israel in Gaza.

He highlighted the cessation of humanitarian aid to Gaza, which he said marked the beginning of a broader genocidal policy.

He warned that such actions, culminating in the termination of the cease-fire and the massacre of civilians, should not be tolerated. Erdogan stressed that the international community must take action in response to these developments.
