Turkish sharpshooter Yusuf Dikec has sparked a discussion about robots by reaching out to Elon Musk on social media. Dikec has invited Musk to Istanbul to delve into the topic further.

Dikec, who won a silver medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol event at the Paris 2024 Olympics, sent a message to Musk, the owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, via his social media account.

‘Let’s discuss in Istanbul’

Known for his distinctive shooting technique with his hands in his pockets, Dikec questioned whether humanoid robots could achieve similar feats and win medals with their hands in their pockets. He directed this query to Musk, who is recognized for his ambitious work in developing humanoid robots.

Dikec posted the following message on the social media platform X, tagging Musk:

“Hi Elon, do you think future robots can win medals at the Olympics with their hands in their pockets? How about discussing this in Istanbul, the cultural capital that unites continents?”

Responding to Dikec, “Robots will hit the center of the bullseye every time,” Musk said.

Last month, Musk announced that humanoid robots would enter production next year, stating: “Tesla will introduce truly useful humanoid robots for internal use in limited quantities next year, with plans to scale up production for other companies by 2026.”
