A recent survey conducted by Ser-Ar between March 24 and 27, 2025, reveals that the economy and justice are the most pressing issues for the Turkish public.

Economy tops list of concerns

According to the poll, which was conducted with 2,000 respondents via Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI), 46.8% of participants identified the economy as the most urgent issue that needs to be addressed in Türkiye.

The country has been grappling with inflation, currency fluctuations, and cost-of-living challenges, making economic stability a key concern for many citizens.

Justice system comes in second

The survey also found that 43.4% of respondents see justice as Türkiye’s most pressing problem.

Discussions around judicial independence, legal reforms, and fair governance have been a focal point in recent years, making this a critical issue for a large segment of the population.

Immigration and other issues

The presence of migrants and refugees was cited by 6.6% of respondents as the country’s primary challenge, reflecting ongoing debates about Türkiye’s refugee policies.

Meanwhile, 3.2% of participants mentioned other concerns, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
