President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended warm congratulations to Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob during a telephone conversation on Tuesday, where they discussed a range of topics including bilateral relations and global affairs.

In a statement released by the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, President Erdogan commended Slovenia for its recent decision to formally recognize Palestine as a sovereign state. He emphasized that such recognition could significantly contribute to fostering lasting peace and stability in the Middle East region.

The conversation also marked an occasion for President Erdogan to convey his best wishes to Slovenia on its national day, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.
