Deputy Foreign Minister Bozay holds meetings with OSCE, EU representatives
Deputy Foreign Minister, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, engages in discussions with OSCE and EU officials on global terrorism threats and Türkiye’s counterterrorism efforts
According to a post from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ X social media account, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and EU President Mehmet Kemal Bozay hosted the delegation, which included Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Parliamentary Assembly President Pia Kauma, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Temporary Committee on Terrorism Chair Reinhold Lopatka, and Vice President Kamil Aydin, at the ministry.
Discussions included the global terrorism threat, international cooperation within this framework, and an exchange of views on Türkiye’s experience in combating terrorism.
A post from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ European Union Presidency X account also noted that Bozay met with Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) at the European Commission.
Additionally, Bozay hosted Ambassador Sibylle Katharina Sorg, Director for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, where they discussed bilateral relations between Germany and Türkiye, Türkiye-EU relations, and international and regional issues.
Türkiye-Australia political consultations
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Burak Akcapar also held political consultations with Rod Brazier, Deputy Secretary at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The consultations involved an exchange of views on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.
