Türkiye’s defense chief visits Malaysia to discuss defense cooperation

Haluk Gorgun, head of Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries, made a significant trip to Malaysia.
Gorgun, accompanied by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Malaysia Emir Salim Yuksel and a group of representatives, held a meeting with General Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan, commander of the Malaysian Army.
In addition, the defense chief convened a crucial meeting with Isham bin Ishak, secretary-general of Malaysia’s Ministry of Defense.
The meetings focused on a comprehensive discussion of Türkiye’s defense industrial capabilities.
The potential for partnerships between the two countries was thoroughly examined, with a focus on exchanging ideas for the development of cooperative defense initiatives.
Türkiye views this visit as a part of its efforts to strengthen international defense industry collaborations.
These high-level interactions are anticipated to enhance defense collaboration between Türkiye and Malaysia.
