Türkiye’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic Egemen Bagis, provided insights into the evolving Türkiye-Czechia relations, highlighting significant economic and industrial developments.

Ambassador Bagis announced that some of the trams currently operating in Prague will soon be manufactured in Adana, Türkiye, with plans to export these trams to Central Asia. This marks a significant step in strengthening the industrial collaboration between the two nations.

In a major development, Bagis revealed that Europe’s largest defense industry company, Czechoslovak Group (CSG), has established a munitions factory in Konya, Türkiye.

“CSG’s new facility in Konya will produce munitions for global markets.” Bagis stated.

This strategic move not only enhances the economic ties between Türkiye and Czechia but also positions Türkiye as a critical hub for defense manufacturing and defense exports.
