Communication failures during Istanbul quake spark criticism of GSM operators

Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Silivri, Istanbul, problems were experienced with GSM operators.
People unable to reach their loved ones expressed their frustration on social media. The earthquake occurred at 12:49 p.m. at a depth of 6.9 kilometers and was felt in neighboring provinces as well.
GSM operators fail again
After the earthquake, issues with GSM operators persisted. Those unable to contact their relatives criticized the operators on social media, pointing out the communication failures during emergencies.
The major GSM operators in Türkiye were notably impacted by the disruptions.
