The Central Bank of Türkiye’s (CBRT) total reserves declined by $386 million to $130.533 billion in the week ending March 8, according to the bank’s weekly monetary and banking statistics.
According to the data, this decrease was driven by a sharper decline in foreign exchange reserves, which fell by $2.73 billion to $77.79 billion compared to $80.51 billion on March 1.
In contrast, gold reserves rose by $2.34 billion to $52.75 billion from $50.4 billion.
