Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The U.S. requested a discussion on the negotiation process between Israel and Hamas, as well as the increasing tension in the region.

The ongoing massacre against Palestinians and the martyrdom of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Haniyeh, according to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, have once again demonstrated that Israel is unwilling to establish peace.

Fidan asserted that Hamas’s prior constructive stance toward a cease-fire should compel Israel to implement a permanent cease-fire.

Fidan also expressed concern regarding the escalating tension in the region and advised Israel to refrain from taking provocative actions that could exacerbate the conflict.
