Bayraktar AKINCI combat drone successfully completes supersonic missile test

Manufactured by Roketsan, the UAV-122 missile boasts exceptional accuracy, swift firepower assistance, the flexibility to operate at varying altitudes and outstanding agility

Türkiye’s Bayraktar AKINCI combat drone has effectively carried out the supersonic missile test for UAV-122. 

Baykar, the Turkish drone manufacturer, posted on the X, formerly known as Twitter, regarding this event and shared the video footage of the test. 

Manufactured by Roketsan, the UAV-122 missile excels in accuracy, swift firepower assistance, operational adaptability at varying altitudes, and exceptional maneuverability. 

Selcuk Bayraktar, the chief technology officer at Baykar, shared the test video of Bayraktar AKINCI launching a UAV-122 missile from his X account titled “Golden Era of Turkish Aviation.” 

“We are proud to advance along the path paved by our indigenous technology,” Murat Ikinci, the CEO of Roketsan said on X.

“Our UAV-122 missile has successfully completed the firing test from the AKINCI UAV. I extend my congratulations to all involved,” he added.
