At BSDA 2024, Gorgun strengthens Türkiye-Romania Defense cooperation

Following the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council with Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu at the Presidential Complex, the Turkish delegation made an important visit to Romania. This visit coincided with the 9th International Black Sea Defense, Aviation, and Security Fair (BSDA 2024), held from May 22–24, 2024.

BSDA 2024 began today with the participation of Turkish defense industry companies. At the fair, prominent companies showcasing Turkish engineering prowess are in attendance. These companies have the opportunity to present innovations and products in the defense industry while deepening strategic partnerships.

Defense Industry President Haluk Gorgun will hold a series of important meetings in Romania to discuss Türkiye-Romania defense industry cooperation. Gorgun expressed his hope that the fair would lead to significant partnerships and agreements for the Turkish defense industry.

In a post on his X account, Haluk Gorgun thanked Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, all Romanian authorities, Ambassador Ozgur Kivanc Altan, and participating companies for their gracious hospitality. Gorgun wished for the visit and the fair to be fruitful for both countries.
