Aselsan receives an additional order for security systems as part of a contract amendment with the Presidency of Defense Industries for border and internal security

A contract amendment for a border security and internal security project with the Presidency of Defense Industries has awarded Aselsan an extra order for “security systems”.

Aselsan has informed the Public Disclosure Platform about a contract amendment for the ongoing border and internal security projects. The Presidency of Defense Industries placed an additional order for “security systems” worth $30 million as part of the amendment.

“An amendment to the Border and Homeland Security Project agreement, between Aselsan and the Presidency of The Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defense Industries, has been made. Within the context of this amendment; an additional “Security Systems” order valuing $30.000.000,was given to Aselsan,” posted Aselsan on its official X account on Friday.

What is Aselsan?

Aselsan is a Turkish defense industry company based in Ankara. It was founded in 1975 by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation to fulfil the military communication requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces.

Aselsan has consistently broadened its customer base and product portfolio by leveraging advanced technology since its inception.

Today, it has transformed into a cohesive electronic industry organization encompassing the development, production, installation, marketing, and after-sales of contemporary electronic devices and systems. It operates facilities in Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
