Aselsan makes historic achievements at NATO Ramstein Legacy 2024 Exercise
Türkiye’s Aselsan achieved firsts at the NATO Ramstein Legacy 2024 Integrated Air and Missile Defense Exercise.
Participating actively with products actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces, a significant NATO member, Aselsan Systems including the Transportable Battery Command Control Operations Center (Hakim-ADOC/T), Fire Control Device (KORKUT 130/35), Mounted Stinger on Pedestal (KMS ZIPKIN), and MANPADS Team Equipment, made Aselsan Systems the first short-range air defense systems to participate in NATO’s integrated air defense exercise with Turkish NATO elements.
During the exercise in Romania, Aselsan Air Defense Command Control and Weapon Systems, colocated with other systems from NATO countries in a shared area via the Transportable Battery Command Control Operations Center (HAKİM-ADOC/T), successfully collaborated with systems from Germany, Hungary and Portugal, achieving joint air picture sharing, engagement management, and tactical data link message transmission with NATO systems throughout the exercise.
The Hakim-Adoc/T successfully connected to upper command control elements of NATO systems via tactical data link, ensuring successful joint air picture sharing, engagement management, and tactical data link message transmission with Korkut 130/35, Kms zipkin and Manpads.
Additionally, during the exercise, successful Kms Zipkin firings were conducted by Turkish Air Force teams.
