Aselsan establishes Adiyaman Cable and Connector Inc. to enhance defense industry

Turkish defense corporation Aselsan has announced the establishment of a new company, Adiyaman Cable and Connector Inc. to modernize the defense industry with recent techniques.
“Aselsan owns 15% of ‘Adiyaman Cable and Connector Inc.’, a newly established company that produces, designs, conducts research and development, and offers training, testing, and after-sales services for civilian and military cables, connectors, harnesses, and related products and technologies,” the defense company said in a statement released on June 7.
With this development, the company aims to offer these products to both national and international markets, as well as handle their sales, marketing, imports and exports.
“Additionally, the company will provide education, maintenance, and after-sales services, as well as engage in all kinds of commercial and industrial activities related to these fields. On June 7, 2024, the company officially registered with a capital of $14.97 million,” read the statement.
Adiyaman Cable and Connector Inc. is expected to be a significant player in providing national solutions for Turkey’s defense industry.
With Aselsan’s expertise and experience, the new company aims to deliver competitive products and services in domestic and international markets, contributing to Türkiye’s goal of increasing self-reliance and enhancing its domestic production capabilities in the defense sector.
