Ambassadors present letters of credence to President Erdogan

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received five new ambassadors at the Presidential Complex on Wednesday, who each presented their letters of credence.
The ambassadors included Panama’s Ambassador Karina Arias Fonseca De Gianotti, China’s Ambassador Jiang Xuebin, Malta’s Ambassador Marisa Farrugia, Tajikistan’s Ambassador Sodiq Ashurboyzoda Imomi, and Senegal’s Ambassador Moustapha Sokhna Diop.

Ambassadors hand over letters of credence
During the ceremony at the Presidential Complex, the ambassadors presented their official letters of credence to President Erdogan, marking the formal beginning of their diplomatic missions to Türkiye.
The ambassadors also introduced their embassy staff and family members to the president, following the tradition of diplomatic courtesy.
After the formal exchange of letters, each ambassador had a separate, private meeting with President Erdogan.
These meetings provided an opportunity for the ambassadors to discuss their countries’ relations with Türkiye and further strengthen diplomatic ties.

In addition to the official duties, the ambassadors and their families posed for a commemorative photo with President Erdogan, capturing a moment of mutual respect and the beginning of their respective diplomatic tenures in Türkiye.
