AK Party district office attacked by unidentified suspect

The Justice and Development Party’s (AK Party) Beylikduzu District Office was attacked late at night by a masked suspect who threw paving stones to shatter the windows.

According to reports, the suspect removed two paving stones from the sidewalk and hurled them at the building’s windows before fleeing the scene.

A security guard at the site witnessed the incident and pursued the attacker but was unable to apprehend him, subsequently notifying the police.

Police arrived shortly afterward and launched an investigation to locate the suspect. The building was examined, and security camera footage was analyzed to identify the attacker.

AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe condemned the attack on social media, stating: “I strongly condemn the heinous attack carried out against our Beylikdüzü District Office last night. We will pursue this treacherous act and its perpetrators through legal channels.”
