80% of Manbij under control, cleared of PKK/YPG: Turkish security sources
Turkish security sources report that the Syrian National Army has taken control of 80% of Manbij.
Manbij was previously controlled by PKK/YPG terrorist organization.
PKK terror group which has offshoots in Iraq and Syria, has been waging a terror campaign against Türkiye for more than 40 years.
Listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the United States and the European Union, the group has been responsible for the death of some 40,000 people, including women and children.
After military advances against , Syria expert Omer Ozkizilcik wrote on X, “While the Syrian rebels advance on the ground, Arab tribes in Manbij began revolting against the YPG terror group. The end for the YPG’s project is near.”
