168 active political parties in Türkiye, ruling AK Party records most registered members

According to the records from the Court of Cassation (Yargitay), there are currently 168 active political parties in Türkiye.
The ruling Development and Justice Party (AK Party) ranks with the most registered members at 11.1 million, while the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) comes in second with 1.53 million registered members.
