11 PKK terrorists killed in northern Iraq

The Ministry of National Defense reported that 11 PKK terrorists were killed in northern Iraq. According to a statement on the ministry’s social media account, Turkish Armed Forces detected and eliminated the terrorists in the Hakurk and Gara regions.

The statement also emphasized that the fight against terrorism will continue and said, “Our operations, which we continue with determination, will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized.”

Türkiye continues to carry out operations against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG in northern Iraq and Syria. The PKK has killed thousands of Turkish citizens since its first attack in Siirt in August 1984.

PKK terrorist group which has offshoots in Iraq and Syria, has been waging a terror campaign against Türkiye for more than 40 years.
