Warriors take 2-1 lead despite Alperen Sengun’s double-double

Turkish international Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double, but the Houston Rockets fell 104-93 to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, dropping to a 2-1 deficit in their NBA playoff first-round series.

The NBA playoffs continued with four games on the night. Finishing second in the Western Conference, the Rockets visited the seventh-seeded Warriors for Game 3 of the series.

Sengun played nearly 33 minutes, contributing 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Fred VanVleet added 17 points, while Dillon Brooks scored 13.

For the Warriors, who now lead the series 2-1, Stephen Curry starred with 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Buddy Hield chipped in with 17 points.
